Bilingual Packing Line Lead – English/Spanish

Pay: $16.00–$17.00 per hour

Custom Filters Direct is hiring a Bilingual Packing Line Lead to help lead one of our production packing lines.

This is a hands-on working lead position. You will work alongside the team as a packer while also being responsible for the overall performance of your line, including quality, productivity, staffing, organization, and employee support.

Responsibilities

  • Work on the line as a packer while leading and supporting the team
  • Keep the packing line organized, productive, and running efficiently
  • Assign employees and make sure everyone understands their responsibilities
  • Monitor product quality and ensure packing standards are followed
  • Help the team meet daily production goals
  • Train and assist new employees
  • Communicate instructions to both English- and Spanish-speaking employees
  • Monitor staffing and communicate attendance or headcount concerns to supervisors
  • Make sure the line has the materials needed to continue production
  • Address minor workflow issues and escalate larger concerns to management
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Ensure employees follow company safety, quality, and production procedures

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Previous packing, production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred
  • Previous Line Lead or Team Lead experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable being a working lead and performing packing duties alongside the team
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Dependable with strong attendance
  • Good attention to detail and product quality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Pay

$16.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience.

This position requires working onsite in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Are you able to reliably work this schedule, remain after 3:30 p.m., and work occasional weekends when overtime is required based on production demands?*
This position requires standing and walking for most of the shift, along with frequent bending, reaching, and twisting while working on the production floor. Can you perform these essential job duties?*
Do you have experience working in a production or manufacturing environment?*
Do you have experience inspecting products for defects and verifying that finished products meet quality standards, work instructions, or customer specifications?*
How much experience do you have as a production lead, line lead, team lead, or supervisor in a manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or production environment?*
Are you able to communicate work instructions, safety requirements, and performance or quality concerns effectively in both English and Spanish?*
The pay for this role is $16-17/hour based on experience - are you comfortable in that pay range?*
