Position Overview

Custom Filters Direct is hiring a Cherry Picker Operator (Order Picker) to support our warehouse and shipping operations. This role is responsible for safely operating equipment to pick, move, and organize inventory in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates with experience operating cherry picker forklifts.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday - 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime may be required based on business needs)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker / order picker forklift to retrieve and store inventory
• Pick orders accurately using pick tickets or warehouse systems
• Perform inventory movements and assist with stock organization
• Use RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS), if applicable
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and follow all safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support shipping and receiving functions as needed

Qualifications

• Experience operating a cherry picker or order picker forklift required*
• Cherry picker certification required or recent experience operating one (certification can be verified or renewed upon hire)*
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to become certified)
• Comfortable working at heights
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
• Comfortable working at heights
