About the Role

Custom Filters Direct is hiring an Inventory Control Associate / Forklift Operator to support material flow, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure production has the materials needed to operate efficiently.


Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st Shift). Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Position Overview

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the full cycle of raw materials from receiving to production
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and proper material flow
  • Support production by delivering materials in a timely manner

This is a hands-on role requiring both forklift operation and inventory control experience in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation
  • Manage raw materials from receiving through production usage
  • Safely operate a forklift to move, stage, and deliver materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and material locations
  • Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
  • Ensure proper organization and material flow throughout the facility
  • Work closely with production to ensure materials are available when needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety and operational procedures

Qualifications

  • Inventory control and/or receiving experience required*
  • Forklift experience is required (2+ years preferred)
  • Strong understanding of inventory processes and material flow
  • Proven ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and handling materials
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
