About the Role

Custom Filters Direct is hiring an Inventory Control Associate / Forklift Operator to support material flow, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure production has the materials needed to operate efficiently.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st Shift). Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Position Overview
In this role, you will:
- Manage the full cycle of raw materials from receiving to production
- Ensure inventory accuracy and proper material flow
- Support production by delivering materials in a timely manner
This is a hands-on role requiring both forklift operation and inventory control experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation
- Manage raw materials from receiving through production usage
- Safely operate a forklift to move, stage, and deliver materials
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and material locations
- Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
- Ensure proper organization and material flow throughout the facility
- Work closely with production to ensure materials are available when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Inventory control and/or receiving experience required*
- Forklift experience is required (2+ years preferred)
- Strong understanding of inventory processes and material flow
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Frequent bending, reaching, and handling materials
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
